Actually, one of them bit my dad.
Right prints, it costs $24.95 to set it up and you don't pay anything after that. You don't have to renew every year etc that's it. The minimum acceptable DPI for a DA Print is 150 DPI, while 300 DPI is an excellent quality print. (yeah, pinched that bit from the faq) You can upload the image via the web or ftp, when you have done that you choose the pricing for the print. You submit it and wait for it to be approved.
Pricing, say you have a print for sale that's $20. You get 50% of the profit above base price. The base price is the minimum price. If you sell prints at the base price, you will receive no revenue for the print. Remember, you make 50% of the amount above the base price. (Example and only an example as the real numbers may differ: If the base price for a print is $14.00 and you set the sale price at $24.00, you make [(24-14)/2)=] $5.00 per print sold.
I haven't sold any yet, but that's because I haven't even started to pimp them yet, it's not the easiest thing to sell them so put a link to your prints in your email signature, everywhere to get the word out.
Oh, and you get 3 months subscription with it.
